The first International WFNS Global Neurosurgery Conference is being held from 24th to 25th Feb 2024. This will be held in the city of Flowers,Peshawar,Pakistan.Many of you have already visited and tasted the welcoming hospitality of the Pashtuns. The conference is with the collaboration of the Spine, Neurotrauma and YNS committees.

The conference will have presentations on the following topics:

• NEUROTRAUMA / NEUROREHABILITATION
• NEURO ONCOLOGY
• SPINE
• VASCULAR / STROKE AND ICH
• INFECTIONS
• CONGENITAL ANOMALIES AND PEDIATRICS
• PERIPHERAL NERVES
• FUNCTIONAL NEUROSURGERY

The talks shall focus on the following themes :

• POLICY
• ADVOCACY
• ETHICS
• PREVENTION
• CAPACITY BUILDING
• REHABILITATION

There will be two public awareness pre conference seminars on the 24th of Feb on Neurotrauma Prevention , and second on awareness for Folate fortification for prevention of Spina Bifida. Also there will be a consensus meeting on Child Abuse which would include Neurosurgeons , Pediatricians , and ER specialists .
